Board of Directors

GCLA board of directors consist of thirteen volunteers from the community. The Board's responsibilities include: establishing the mission and programs of the agency; setting policy(e.g. finance, personnel); hiring and directing an Executive Director to carry out policy; providing means for the agency to secure funds to deliver its services, setting the strategic direction, vision and mission; and overseeing and appropriateness of agency programs.
The Executive Director, appointed by the Board of Directors, is responsible for employing, leading and managing staff; advising the Board of Directors; and administrating GCLA in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors.
